Overview
- The Visualization Lead Designer is responsible for leading Design Visualization activities and delivering high-quality digital content that clearly communicates vehicle design intent throughout the product development process.
- This role combines strong expertise in automotive visualization, real-time rendering, AI-assisted content creation, and immersive technologies such as VR/AR to support Styling, CMF, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive Design Reviews.

- In addition, the role manages visualization resources, develops team capabilities, and continuously explores emerging technologies—including AI, real-time visualization, VR/AR, and digital twin solutions—to enhance the quality, speed, and effectiveness of the overall design visualization process.
- Lead Design Visualization activities, managing priorities, quality, and deliverables across vehicle programs.
- Set up and optimize 3D vehicle data using VRED, Unreal Engine, Twinmotion, and other visualization platforms.
- Produce photorealistic 2D renderings and short high-quality 3D animations for design reviews, executive presentations, and marketing communication.
- Support Styling and CMF teams in visualizing design proposals, colors, materials, lighting, and design alternatives while maintaining accurate design intent.
- Develop and maintain VR/AR environments for immersive design reviews and design validation.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools such as Vizcom, Midjourney, Higgsfield, and other emerging platforms to enhance visualization quality, speed, and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain visualization standards, scene templates, material libraries, lighting setups, and best practices across vehicle programs.
- Collaborate with Styling, CMF, Studio Engineering, and Marketing to ensure visual accuracy, consistency, and production intent.
- Evaluate and implement new visualization software, hardware, AI, and immersive technologies to continuously improve internal capabilities.
- Support and develop visualization team capabilities while ensuring all deliverables meet project milestones, quality standards, and brand identity.
Requirements
- Desired Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, Digital Media, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in automotive visualization, CGI, or digital design visualization.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk VRED, Unreal Engine, Blender, Twinmotion, or equivalent visualization platforms.
- Hands-on experience with VR/AR technologies for immersive design reviews and virtual prototyping.
- Proficiency in AI-assisted visualization tools such as Vizcom, Udin Optic, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Higgfields and other emerging image/video generation platforms.
- Strong understanding of automotive Styling, CMF, photorealistic rendering, lighting, materials, shaders, and PBR workflows.
- Experience in producing marketing-quality 2D renderings, high-end 3D animations, and real-time visualization content.
