Overview
- Perform testing and validation of complete vehicles and automotive/motorcycle components and systems throughout product development.
- Develop test plans, test methods, and evaluation criteria to assess product performance, durability, reliability, and safety.
- Conduct vehicle road tests, durability tests, performance evaluations, and benchmark tests.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and recommend product improvements.
- Prepare technical reports and collaborate with R&D, Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Motorcycle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in vehicle testing, component evaluation, or product development within the automotive/motorcycle industry.
- Good understanding of vehicle structure, testing methods, and technical documentation.
- Ability to use testing/measurement equipment and data analysis tools.
- Good English communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in vehicle testing, durability testing, performance testing, benchmark testing, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, ECUs, and CAN communication.
- A valid car driving license (B2 or above) and the ability to operate vehicles for testing purposes.
- Willingness to travel to test sites or other locations when required.
