Overview

Design, develop, and operate data pipelines for collecting, processing, storing, and sharing Smart City data.
Integrate data from various sources, including business systems, APIs, files, IoT sensors, system logs, operational data, and external platforms.
Develop ETL/ELT workflows, perform data cleansing and standardization, and load data into data lakes and data warehouses.
Support the design of data models, staging tables, analytical datasets, and data marts for reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with Data Architects, Senior Data Engineers, and Data Analysts to meet business data requirements.
Monitor data quality, pipeline performance, integration issues, and troubleshoot operational incidents.
Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and data engineering development standards.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing data pipelines or data integration systems.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, relational databases, batch data processing, and semi-structured data.
Solid understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, workflow orchestration, message queues, and fundamental data processing concepts.
Strong teamwork, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and proactive communication skills.
Experience with Airflow, Spark, Kafka, dbt, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent technologies is a plus.
