- Your role will be instrumental in driving effective communication across cross-functional teams, improving requirement quality, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives while supporting efficient product delivery.
- Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements from stakeholders, identifying business objectives, constraints, assumptions, and project scope.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and cross-functional discussions to clarify business needs and resolve ambiguities.
- Model business processes using BPMN, Use Cases, process flows, and other business analysis techniques.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality business documentation, includingBusiness Requirement Documents (BRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), functional specifications, workflow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze business processes, data flows, and system integrations, including data mapping, input/output definitions, business rules, and validation logic.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Support QA teams in developing test scenarios, validating functional requirements, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), assist business users during testing, and support business acceptance and production readiness.
- Manage requirement changes by conducting impact assessments, maintaining version-controlled documentation, and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, traceable, and aligned throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Contribute to process improvements, business analysis standards, documentation templates, and best practices across Smart City projects.
Requirements
- Required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, System Analyst, or a similar role in software development or digital product organizations.
- Strong analytical thinking with excellent documentation and structured problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with business process modeling techniques such as BPMN, Use Cases, workflow diagrams, and requirement lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of requirement elicitation, requirement management, traceability, and change control processes.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON data structures, Postman, and system integration concepts.
- Basic SQL skills for data validation and business verification.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in Agile or hybrid software development environments.
- Experience working in Smart City, Intelligent Operations Center (IOC), Public Safety, Resident Services, IoT platforms, or integrated device management systems.
- Experience defining requirements for real-time event processing, operational workflows, SLA-driven systems, or event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience supporting enterprise integration projects involving APIs, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Agile Business Analysis, or Scrum certifications are a plus.
