Overview
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform electrical calculations and prepare technical drawings.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in production and facility systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, production, and engineering departments.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and technical specifications.
- Assist in procurement and inspection of electrical materials and equipment.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in engineering design or project management are an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Electrical engineer.
- Familiarity with project execution, vendor coordination, and site engineering.
- Experience in industrial/construction projects is an advantage.
- Certification:
- Relevant HSE training or safety certifications are preferred.
- Other industry-specific certifications are considered a plus.
- Knowledge:
- Understanding engineering design processes, electrical specifications, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of engineering software and CAD tools.
- Familiarity with quality assurance, risk assessment, and project management principles.
- Skills:
- Good command of written and spoken English; able to communicate and report directly to foreign managers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software.
- Sound knowledge of P&ID, PFD, and control systems (PLC/DCS).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Good planning, organizational, and personnel management skills.
