Overview
- Lead, plan, and execute IT projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, timelines, technical specifications, and resource allocation.
- Communicate project progress, risks, expectations, timelines, milestones, and other key project metrics to stakeholders.
- Assess potential risks and devise mitigation strategies.
- Engage with vendors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that projects are current and competitive.
- Ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality.
- Evaluate project outcomes, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in project management with a focus on IT.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software tools, like MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage external vendor relationships.
- Good proficiency in Japanese or English is a plus, but not required.
