Overview
- Design, provision, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Build and operate Kubernetes-based platforms supporting backend APIs, data services, batch processing, and GPU workloads.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for spatial APIs, platform services, and machine learning deployments.
- Implement observability across the platform, including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
- Manage container build pipelines, registries, deployment automation, and repository-level access controls.
- Implement security controls, secrets management, and platform access policies.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost for large-scale vector and raster data processing workloads.
- Create operational documentation, incident response procedures, and platform runbooks.
- Cloud Infrastructure: AWS, EKS, EC2, IAM, S3, CloudWatch.
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, autoscaling, GPU workloads.
- Infrastructure Automation: Terraform, IaC practices.
- CI/CD & Delivery: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo Workflows.
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
- Platform Security: Secrets management and access controls.
- Scripting & Automation: Python and Bash.
- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- CI/CD implementation and deployment automation experience.
- Strong Python and/or Bash scripting skills.
- Understanding of observability and platform reliability.
- Knowledge of security and secrets management.
- Professional working English.
- Experience supporting GIS or geospatial platforms.
- Experience with GPU workloads and ML infrastructure.
- Experience with streaming systems and large-scale data processing.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Understand the system architectures and deployment workflows.
- Take ownership of infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
- Improve observability, reliability, and documentation.
- Deliver measurable platform improvements.
