Overview
- Play a key role in designing products from initial design to production stage
- Work with cross-functional teams at every stage of production to deliver various projects
- Able to interpret ambiguous technical documentation
- Component and system-level troubleshooting
- Test all necessary audio components
- Solid background in digital signal processing (dsp) for speech and audio
- Hand-on experiences with noise suppression and speech enhancement
- Experience with Python and MATLAB, and C/C++ programming
- Experience with low-power platforms or embedded
- Degree in Acoustics, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Equivalent
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing acoustic or audio hardware products from initial design through production
- Experience in audio products (acoustics and electronics)
- Experience with microphone array design and acoustic material selection
- Familiarity with speech masking and sound masking principles
- Experience working with cross-functional team members from multiple disciplines to reach fact-based decisions
- Experience with ANC hardware design — transducer placement, feedforward/feedback mic positioning, and enclosure geometry for ANC systems
- Ability to work independently as the sole acoustic specialist on the team
- Modern Grade A office located in the heart of District 1.
