Overview

To follow up with assigned accounts on seafreight shipments and provide support whenever shipments occur. Experience with U.S. routing is preferred.
To follow up on each shipment in accordance with the procedures and requirements outlined in the job covering for seafreight.
To follow up on customer shipment advice and coordinate with customers, overseas stations, and account holders to arrange the required shipment activities, including pickup, carrier booking, etc.
To check and verify shipment documents and provide updates to relevant parties.
To work closely in accordance with the SOPs established by the Sales team and Customer Service Manager.
To inform Customer Service Manager of any irregularities or issues requiring assistance and provide feedback on subcontractor standards and service quality.
To provide customers with updates on pre-claim details and claim status.
To handle incident management and handles customers inquiries, complaints, claims follow up, verify credit terms and credit status, and coordinate with departments concerned on related issues.
To verify incoming invoices.
To complete job costing after shipment handling.
Control shipping run by obtaining loading confirmation from carriers.
To handle other tasks assigned by Customer Service Manager.
