Overview

Assist and work directly with our Australian Partner, a Melbourne-based Tax Agent Firm.
Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) with accuracy and compliance.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records in Xero.
Process, prepare and manage bank reconciliations.
Support month‑end and year‑end financial processes.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure correct account coding
Create and maintain compliance workpapers using Excel to support tax filings.
Process weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll in accordance with Australian Fair Work and ATO requirements.
Manage superannuation, leave entitlements, and PAYG withholding.
Collaborate with team members to enhance tax knowledge and operational efficiency.
Stay updated on changes in taxation law and how these impact compliance and reporting.
Support the Australian team with any required tax-related inquiries or issues.
