Overview

  • Validate test results yourself (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunoassay) — you sign off, you own it
  • Talk directly to clinicians about what results mean (test interpretation, methodology, clinical significance)
  • Run quality control, proficiency testing, diagnostic accuracy checks — hands-on
  • Develop lab protocols and SOPs — based on real work you're doing✓ Train staff by doing the work alongside them (not lecturing from above)
  • Spot inefficiencies and fix them (process improvements, automation, quality gains)
  • Ensure ISO 15189 compliance through action, not paperwork
