Overview
- Engineering Calculations and Design:
- Perform engineering calculations using empirical formulae from Classification Regulations as well as first principles.
- Prepare and revise mechanical/ piping diagram packages for Classification Society approval.
- Conduct system calculations in line with industry standards and recognized marine standard criteria.
- Equipment and System Development:
- Apply basic knowledge of marine engineering and systems to ensure equipment functionality.
- Assist with equipment and piping weight estimates.
- Assist in preparing ship machinery arrangements at concept, basic, and functional design levels.
- Develop 3D compartment arrangements for space planning and visualization.
- Collaboration:
- Work effectively within team environments, both within the office and across global teams.
- Share ideas, concerns, and solutions openly with team members.
- Complete assignments on time, adapting to changes in goals or priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
- Problem-Solving:
- Analyze and reflect on observations and experiences to assist in solving problems.
