Overview
- Act as the main liaison between the Vietnamese development team and Japanese clients.
- Analyze and clarify client requirements, conduct requirement definition, and support technical teams in design and development phases.
- Translate business and technical requirements between Japanese and English/Vietnamese.
- Manage project progress, resource allocation, and report status to both internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with PMs and technical leads to define and track milestones, tasks, and risks.
- Support presales activities including estimation, proposal writing, and client presentations when needed.
- Participate in system design review, test case review, and final user acceptance testing.
- Work onsite in Japan if the project requires.
- Your Skills and Experience
- Your Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Fluent in Japanese (N2 level or above). Strong communication and presentation skills.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a BrSE in offshore development projects for the Japanese market.
- Deep understanding of Japanese business culture and communication style.
- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum or Waterfall).
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including clients, internal team members, and management.
- Technical background is a big plus (e.g. PHP, Java, .NET, Flutter, Mobile app, etc.)
- Able to create clear technical documents and translate between Japanese-EnglishVietnamese.
- Experience in resource management, team coordination, and risk handling.
