Overview

Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large datasets
Build and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting use cases
Work with Databricks to develop scalable data processing solutions (e.g., Spark-based workloads)
Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across all data pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and deployments
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of data systems
Document data processes, models, and architecture
Your Skills and Experience
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
Work experience at least 5 years as data engineer
Strong experience with Python, SQL and data querying
Solid understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., star schema, normalization/denormalization)
Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
Hands-on experience creating and maintaining ML and AI models.
Experience working with Databricks and distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark)
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala)
Good English

Experience working in agile development environments
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and modern data architectures (e.g., lakehouse)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Exposure to data governance and security best practices
