Overview

Inspect and monitor welding activities throughout fabrication, from preparation and fit-up to final inspection.
Verify materials, fit-up, welding procedures, welding equipment and consumables to ensure compliance with drawings, WPS and applicable standards.
Perform visual inspection (VT) and coordinate Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) activities including PT, MT, UT and RT.
Assess weld quality, prepare inspection reports and maintain inspection records.
Identify, report and follow up on welding defects, non-conformities and corrective actions.
Work closely with QA/QC, Production and Engineering teams to ensure product quality requirements are met.
Support the implementation and maintenance of the ASME U Stamp quality system for pressure vessel projects.
Ensure compliance with company HSE requirements and safety regulations.
