Overview

  • Develop and maintain robust, high-performing microservices using Java Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement scalable and distributed solutions to meet complex business requirements.
  • Utilize PostgreSQL for database management and integration within services.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration testing, to ensure reliable and secure applications.
  • Leverage public cloud platforms such as Azure for deploying and scaling applications.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability by following best practices and conducting regular code reviews.
  • Fluent in English
  • 7+ years of experience in Java development with a deep knowledge of the Spring Boot framework.
  • Strong coding ability — candidates will be assessed through a practical live coding test during the interview process
  • Experience leading a small engineering team (2–3 members) or serving as a Technical Lead, including task delegation, code review, and driving technical decisions
  • Proven track record of developing microservices and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and database design principles.
  • Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with public cloud services (AWS/Azure), including management and configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexible & hybrid working — Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00, up to 3 days WFH per week; remote also considered
