Overview

  • Work closely with Design team to develop new collections and products.
  • Source and evaluate fabrics, trims, prints, packaging, and other materials.
  • Coordinate sample development from proto sample to pre-production sample.
  • Track development timelines and ensure milestone completion.
  • Communicate daily with suppliers and factories regarding product development and production status.
  • Request quotations and negotiate costs with vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance on quality, lead time, and responsiveness.
  • Support onboarding and evaluation of new suppliers and factories.
  • Manage purchase orders and production schedules.
  • Track production progress to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Identify and resolve production issues proactively.
  • Coordinate with factories on material readiness, capacity planning, and shipment schedules.
  • Escalate risks and delays with proposed solutions.
  • Ensure products meet Routine's quality standards and safety requirements for children's products.
  • Coordinate product testing and quality inspections.
  • Follow up on corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with labeling, packaging, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Design, MD, Logistics, and Operations teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate product information and development records.
  • Support launch readiness by ensuring all production deliverables are completed on schedule.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years experience in merchandising, product development, sourcing, or production.
  • Experience in kidswear, baby products, fashion, textile, or consumer goods is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working directly with factories and suppliers.
  • Skills
  • Strong project management and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple styles and timelines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • English communication with suppliers is preferred

  • Range salary: 18 – 23 mil (gross) (depend on experience’s candidate)
