Overview

  • Handle the airfreight procurement activities within the frameworks and strategies set regionally. The aim is to ensure a higher level of transparency and accuracy of tariffs, with the objective of creating an environment of competitiveness and efficiency leading to accountability and measurable results.
  • The Procurement, Pricing executive must work together with Country Product Manager- Airfreight, Operation team, sales team to help the country achieve their goals commercially and help the oversea offices to develop their business with VN.
  • Comply with global core carrier policy for the top trade lanes by evaluating the carriers` performance and feasibility, establishing objectives on each carrier aligned with country product manager.
  • Ensure country tariffs (buying & selling) are maintained by PICs for customs, trucking, and airfreight, and ensure their accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Ensuring the efficiency of the procurement activities by utilizing digital procurement and booking platforms.
  • Keep record and follow up the rate request.
  • Coordinate with local Compliance on contract preparation with carriers and suppliers.
  • Knowledge in Import-Export operation, shipping documents and customs procedure.
  • Be a team player, detailed and accurate
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with airlines, GSAs, and internal teams.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, able to explain procurement strategies, pricing, and performance results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Product, Operations, Sales, and Network teams
  • Sincere and long-term development of the company
  • At least 03-05 years -working experience in forwarding company.
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Dangerous goods certificate is a plus.
