Overview
- Plan, organize, and oversee the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of footwear orders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, development, procurement) to ensure production aligns with client demands and project timelines.
- Manage and mentor sub-units including QC/QA, Compliance & Testing and Planning Teams
- Monitor daily production schedules and resolve any bottlenecks or issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
- Supervise and lead production staff, including operators, supervisors, and support personnel, ensuring they work efficiently and maintain high performance.
- Ensure that all footwear products meet the highest quality standards and client specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures, monitor product defects, and drive corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to manufacturing practices.
- Ensure production processes are efficient while maintaining product quality, thereby maximizing profitability.
- Continuously assess and improve production processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize resource utilization.
- Implement best practices for production planning, material handling, and inventory management to minimize downtime.
- Analyze production reports and provide actionable insights for operational improvements.
