Overview

  • Own merchant growth and co-funding delivery
  • Own the end-to-end plan to acquire, retain and grow SME and Household merchants, contributing to the annual merchant co-funding target.
  • Build merchant segmentation, value propositions, sales motions and retention programs across priority categories and products.
  • Drive merchant conversion from prospecting, onboarding and campaign launch to repeat funding and long-term partnership.
  • Lead direct sales execution
  • Lead and develop a direct merchant acquisition team of approximately 40 sales resources, with clear productivity, pipeline, conversion and co-funding targets.
  • Establish weekly operating cadence, territory/account allocation, sales playbooks, incentive mechanisms and performance management.
  • Coach team leaders and sales teams on merchant pitching, objection handling, commercial negotiation and account development.
  • Personally support strategic deals, complex negotiations and priority merchant chains when required.
  • Mobilize and govern Techcombank branch execution
  • Work closely with Techcombank business units and branches to activate branch sales resources for merchant acquisition and retention.
  • Define branch deployment model, target allocation, merchant eligibility, sales materials, training and incentive/recognition mechanisms.
  • Build a disciplined tracking process for branch-level pipeline, conversion, merchant activation and co-funding realization.
  • Identify execution bottlenecks and work with relevant stakeholders to improve adoption and sales productivity.
