Overview
- Lead, coach, and develop engineers across one or more Agile teams.
- Drive engineering excellence through adherence to development, testing, security, and quality standards.
- Build a strong learning culture and support engineers through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, probation reviews, performance reviews, development planning, and succession planning.
- Foster a T-shaped engineering culture, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
- Support engineers in adopting Agile, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
- Partner with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure effective team collaboration and alignment.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering effectiveness, quality, and team engagement.
- Support risk, compliance, and governance requirements by ensuring engineering teams follow NAB frameworks and standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Technology and Business functions.
- Drive team engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and retention initiatives.
- Create an environment where engineers can grow, innovate, and perform at their best.
