Overview
- Master Production Scheduling (for Mass Production Product and NPI Product both)
- Develop and manage rolling MPS plans (2–12 weeks horizon)
- Translate demand into feasible production plans
- Identify capacity gaps and drive mitigation actions
- Capacity & Load Balancing
- Balance production load across peak and low seasons
- Manage short-term constraints to optimize resource utilization
- Support Urgent & NPI Orders
- Allocate capacity for expedite orders and New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Coordinate closely with Production Planning and Operations
- Master Data & System Governance
- Ensure accuracy of SAP master data for planning
- Support digitalization and supply chain optimization initiatives
- KPI Management & Improvement
- Monitor and improve key metrics:
- o MPS Plan Accuracy
- o MPS Quality
- o MPS Attainment
- Drive actions to close gaps between plan and execution
- Supply Chain Optimization
- Align planning with customer priorities (CRD, backlog)
- Optimize inventory performance (reduce DOH, improve quality)
