Overview
- Define the technical vision, architecture standards, design patterns, and development best practices for the ServiceNow platform.
- Lead architecture and technical governance for complex initiatives, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
- Review and approve solution designs, integrations, and platform configurations to ensure consistency and long-term platform health.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and platform administrators; guide architectural decisions and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Drive platform modernization initiatives, upgrades, releases, and continuous improvement efforts while proactively reducing technical debt.
- Evaluate emerging ServiceNow capabilities and recommend adoption strategies that maximize business value and platform maturity.
- Partner with business leaders and product teams to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and support strategic roadmap development.
- Promote reusable solutions, architectural consistency, and effective governance across ServiceNow products and integrations.
- Your Skills and Experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5-7 years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience in architecture, development, administration, or implementation.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
- Expertise in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- One or more advanced ServiceNow certifications such as CAD, CIS, or CTA preferred.
- Demonstrated experience designing and governing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, platform governance, integrations, scripting, and security.
- Experience supporting multiple ServiceNow products, including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, CSM, or App Engine.
- English proficiency at B2 CEFR level or above (or equivalent) is required.
- Experience leading enterprise ServiceNow architecture and platform governance.
- Knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience establishing platform standards, governance models, and technical roadmaps.
