Overview
- Logistics Setup & Supply Chain Development
- Lead the setup of logistics and warehouse operations for a new food manufacturing facility.
- Develop logistics strategies, SOPs, KPIs, and operating procedures.
- Establish transportation, warehouse, and export processes from factory startup through commercial operations.
- Participate in warehouse and cold storage design, capacity planning, and equipment selection.
- Implement WMS, ERP, and logistics reporting systems.
- Cold Chain Management
- Manage temperature-controlled storage and transportation for chilled and frozen products.
- Ensure continuous cold chain integrity from production to customer delivery.
- Monitor temperature records, alarm systems, and corrective actions.
- Investigate and resolve temperature deviation incidents.
- Optimize cold chain costs while maintaining product quality requirements.
- Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure logistics and warehousing operations comply with Halal certification requirements.
- Develop procedures to prevent cross-contamination between Halal and non-Halal products.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, BRCGS, and other food safety standards.
- Manage sanitation and hygiene programs for warehouses, cold rooms, loading areas, and transportation vehicles.
- Support internal audits, external certification audits, and customer inspections.
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Safety, or Halal Management are preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of logistics and supply chain experience.
- Proven experience in food, frozen food, chilled food, or FMCG industries.
- Experience in factory startup, warehouse setup, or greenfield projects.
- Strong experience in cold chain logistics and refrigerated transportation.
- Experience managing outsourced transportation fleets and night distribution operations.
