Overview

This role is for a lawyer with 5 - 7 years’ experience working for top tier foreign or domestic law firms in Vietnam, under the direction and instruction of Legal Directors and Partners, overseeing junior lawyers/paralegals and dealing directly with clients.
Specifically, the Associate Director/Manager will be responsible for working with leadership in:
advising on all aspects of Vietnam laws related to our client’s business and investment; preparing legal advice, transaction structuring, due diligence reports, transaction documentation and related pre- and post-completion tasks; representing clients in liaising and working with the relevant authorities to seek handle regulatory issues
managing client caseload in collaboration with the leadership team and ensuring that all legal deliverables meet all requirements and is of high quality before submitting to leadership for sign off
providing advice, guidance and mentoring to the junior lawyers/paralegals to ensure they approach their work with professionalism and due care, and in a manner that maintains the good reputation of KPMG in the community; and
other tasks as required by leadership.
