Overview
- Record and update shipment information in the daily logistics log.
- Monitor shipment status to ensure cargo from overseas suppliers is delivered to final destinations across Vietnam according to schedule.
- Communicate with freight forwarders to negotiate competitive quotations and arrange flight/vessel bookings based on cargo readiness provided by shippers.
- Review and manage all documentation submitted by shippers to ensure compliance with Customs requirements.
- Work closely with the sales team to determine and assign Vietnamese product names, HS codes, import duties, and customs valuation for declaration purposes.
- Coordinate with customs brokers on customs declaration procedures and address any inquiries from Customs authorities.
- Liaise with insurance providers when necessary.
- Collaborate with domestic trucking services to deliver goods to end customers.
- Verify and reconcile logistics costs from freight forwarders and trucking services at month-end.
- Ensure accurate and well-organized record keeping of certificates and documentation (CO/CQ).
