Overview

THE ROLE OF EXPAT TEACHER:
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes and age groups
Submit the lesson plans, student’s report to the English program Leader
Prepare and set tests, examination papers and exercises
Mark and provide appropriate feedback on oral and written work
Devise, write and produce new materials, including audio and visual resources
Support and get involved in social and cultural school activities such as competitions, school events, excursions, etc
Attend and contribute to training sessions
Undertake administrative tasks, such as revising translation documents, school news, etc.

A university degree is required, preferably in Education, English, Linguistics, or Modern Languages (though not essential).
At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience; experience in international or bilingual schools is an advantage.
Native English proficiency is preferred.
A recognized teaching qualification such as CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL is an advantage.
Must meet all legal requirements to obtain a valid work permit in Vietnam.
Demonstrated creativity in lesson planning, with the ability to design engaging, practical, and student-centered lessons.
Strong passion for teaching, with the ability to nurture, motivate, and inspire students.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a dynamic school environment.
High level of cultural sensitivity, patience, and professional tolerance.
