  • ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Objectives and Key Result Areas The specific roles and activities discussed with you are (but not limited to) the following:
  • Prepare accurate, consistent architectural drawings as part of a small local team and a larger international team.
  • Develop design documentation from initial concept stage through to construction stage.
  • Following company standards and codes of practice in architecture
  • Receiving and understanding detailed markups from the project architects and senior team members.
  • Checking architectural drawings and markup to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Take responsibility for drawings, identify issues or risks, and communicate clearly to the team.
  • Notify senior staff of design problems or improvement opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively to achieve better project and documentation outcomes.
  • Manage your own time to meet deadlines or communicate delays proactively.
  • Plan workload and manage team time where required.
  • Participate in global team communications and meetings.
  • Participation in project reviews.
  • Mentor and support team members.
  • Willingness to learn construction methodologies, building codes and planning regulations.
  • Capability, accuracy, speed, etc. in preparing documentation and details.
  • Coordination of consultants documentation.
  • Construction Knowledge:
  • o Understanding of construction detailing and delivery methodology.
  • o Knowledge of MEP (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics), fire and other services.
  • o Buildability knowledge and experience.
  • Continuously improve skills through training and self-learning.
  • Be innovative in improving systems, methods, and project delivery.
  • Follow company procedures and professional standards.
