Overview

Create and confirm transport orders to ensure pickup of the shipment at the origin
Perform booking and booking optimization according to internal guidelines as defined by Product
Prepare, control and distribute all required Import/ Export documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, etc.) complying with regulations and internal procedures
Check responses from counterparts and finalize validation of required documents
Follow up on shipment status in the Import/ Export area, identify incidents and ensure resolution of incidents
Support Customer Service in the incident and exception management resolution
Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers
Is responsible for identifying performance issues of suppliers and proposes solutions to improve/correct performance
Perform IT systems-related tasks to provide up-to-date information on shipment
Interact with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers, if required
