Overview

Take full responsibility for the entire process of sea freight shipments, including booking space with carriers, arranging cargo release, and coordinating with shipping lines, agents, and port authorities.
Handle document preparation and verification, including Original Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Customs Documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor shipment status in real-time, track vessel ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) and ETD, and proactively communicate any changes or delays to clients.
Serve as the key liaison for clients, providing regular updates on shipment progress, transit times, and delivery status.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve service issues or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
Provide professional advice on import logistics solutions, Incoterms, and customs clearance procedures to clients, maintaining strong and long-term business relationships.
Coordinate with loal suppliers to facilitate smooth and timely trucking, customs declaration and clearance processes.
Monitor local supplier to ensure all import declarations are completed correctly, adhering to local customs regulations and tariff classification rules to minimize risks of detention or penalty.
Verify and reconcile freight invoices from carriers or suppliers.
Maintain accurate and complete operational records, documents, and database in accordance with company policies and retention schedules.
