Overview
- Provide daily oversight of HSE activities across the plant and ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures, including Permit-to-Work (PTW), Work at Height, Hot Work Permits, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
- Conduct HSE orientation and training programs for employees and contractors in accordance with company standards and local regulations.
- Manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) programs, including inventory monitoring and replenishment of automated dispensing systems.
- Lead safety awareness initiatives through HSE meetings, toolbox talks, shift handover meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Monitor statutory inspections and certifications of critical safety equipment, including cranes, hoists, forklifts, pressure relief devices, elevators, and compressed air systems.
- Perform routine inspections of fire protection and emergency response equipment, including fire extinguishers, fire pumps, fire hoses, eyewash stations, safety showers, first aid kits, spill response kits, and ladders.
- Review contractor HSE documentation and oversee contractor compliance on-site, ensuring all equipment and tools meet safety requirements before entry.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring and industrial hygiene programs.
- Supervise site security operations and ensure effective implementation of security procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of new HSE policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain waste management records and prepare regulatory reports as required.
- Conduct daily 5S inspections, HSE observations, and update safety communication boards.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for raw materials and finished products in both English and Vietnamese.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate annual health check-ups and occupational health surveillance programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
