Overview
- Commissioning & Testing:
- Participate in the commissioning of Seaonics systems according to the Seaonics technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough testing of Seaonics systems and demonstrate their functionality to yard, Class and Owner, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare for and actively participate in Sea Trials, conducting tests and preparing comprehensive reports as assigned.
- Oversee any ongoing mechanical works during installation/ commissioning at yard.
- Technical Support:
- Assist engineering department in case of changes and updates to mechanical drawings, connection diagrams, cable lists and other relevant documentation.
- Provide technical supervision of the yard's installation progress.
- Prepare documentation for the installation and ABV process.
- Documentation & Handover:
- Manage technical documents throughout the commissioning period.
- Hand over the Seaonics system to the yard, including reports and training.
- Comply with approved drawings from Seaonics engineering department.
- Ensure registration and closing of issues in Seaonics internal Jira system.
- Report all non-compliance cases to the Seaonics Synergy system.
- Execute and coordinate interfaces between different systems.
- Execute and coordinate interfaces between Seaonics and Yard.
- Execute and coordinate the information flow with relevant parties.
- Report commissioning progress to the Lead Commissioning Manager/ Commissioning Coordinator.
- Participate in Seaonics production follow-up as required.
- Perform service assignments as required for delivered equipment in operation.
- Carry out retrofits, upgrades, and modifications on delivered vessels.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Experience:
- o Experience with Marine lifting and handling equipment, equipment production follow up or relevant operational fields.
- o Successful completion of the Seaonics internal training and approval process for ECMC equipment, OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within a foreign company.
- Skills & Competencies:
- o Fluency in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
- o Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- o Attention to detail.
- o Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
