Overview
- Wine Service
- Provide tailored wine recommendations to members based on taste and menu pairing.
- Serve wines with correct presentation, temperature, and etiquette.
- Deliver confident and engaging wine service during lunch, dinner, and events.
- Cellar Management
- Maintain wine inventory, including ordering, rotation and storage.
- Ensure accurate cellar records and work within agreed cost margins.
- Oversee glassware, decanters and wine service equipment.
- Knowledge & Training
- Stay current on wine trends, producers, and vintages.
- Lead training sessions for FOH team on wine knowledge and service.
- Support wine events and tastings as required.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef to ensure optimal pairings.
- Contribute to seasonal wine list development.
- Engage VIP members and collectors in exclusive allocations and offers.
