Overview
- Chemical safety management, including the review and approval of chemicals used in the factory as well as those applied in product development, to ensure safety criteria and minimize risks. Implementation of chemical management systems such as CHEM IQ, BHIVE, BVE3, MRSL, and ZDHC...
- Manage, monitor and update applicable chemical legal requirements for the plant
- Conduct safety risk assessments and monitor contractor EHS compliance before and during work
- Conduct safety assessment for new machine, equipment layout and layout approval before operation
- Investigate and report the accidents/ violations then determine the root causes and enforce preventative measures meet government requirement and decrease labor accident
- Contact, prepare documents, and welcome the audits from customers and the government to assure all document/process/procedure follow auditor requirement.
- Track, update and drive closure of EHS corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) after the audit for auditor
- Follow up the training plan of internal and external resources for environment, safety & Firefighting to assure labor safety and enhance employee awareness
- As a member of the Environmental Management Team, participate in planning, implementing, and reviewing EHS policies, improvement programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with governmental and customer requirements
- Create the EHS program to encourage safety awareness of employees
- Join the ISO committee and perform the tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Apply and audit Environmental, Health, and Safety programs/systems (such as HIGG FEM/FSLM, Better Work, 6S, etc.) to meet customer requirements
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, engineering, and human resources, to integrate EHS practices into daily operations.
- Education: University/ Engineering Degree of Occupational Health & Safety/ Environmental or related field preferred
- Years of Experience: Preffer at least 3 year of work at EHS/ESG in footwear/Garment/Label manufacturing environment.
- Foreign language: Working proficiency in English.
