Overview
- Install, inspect, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment, including display cabinets, chillers, and cold rooms
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related faults in cooling systems
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and energy efficiency
- Handle refrigerant charging, leak detection, and recovery in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment schematics
- Respond promptly to service calls and breakdown reports from stores or clients
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and maintenance logs
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to source spare parts and equipment
- Ensure all work complies with local safety standards and company procedures
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians when required
