Overview

Design mechanical parts, assemblies, fixtures, and tooling using CAD software.
Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Work with suppliers and factory teams to support machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and cost reduction improvements.
Support prototype builds, NPI, and production ramp-up activities.
Review supplier capability, manufacturing processes, and First Article Inspection (FAI) results.
Troubleshoot manufacturing, machining, and assembly issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical problems.
Manage engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and document revisions.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and support corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Evaluate and qualify new suppliers, materials, and manufacturing technologies.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and manufacturing personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
