  • Process Quality Control
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with approved work instructions, process documentation, IPC standards, and quality requirements.
  • Verify that production activities are performed in accordance with established process controls and quality procedures.
  • Identify process deviations and initiate immediate containment actions to prevent defective products from progressing through production.
  • Non-conformance Management
  • Investigate production non-conformities using structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, etc.).
  • Coordinate containment, corrective, and preventive actions (CAPA) with relevant departments.
  • Organize and supervise the segregation and sorting of blocked or suspect production batches in manufacturing and warehouse areas.
  • Ensure proper identification, segregation, and disposition of non-conforming products in accordance with company procedures.
  • Process Improvement
  • Analyze production quality data and key manufacturing KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Propose and implement technical solutions to improve product quality, process stability, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, scrap, and customer quality risks.
  • Documentation & Process Validation
  • Develop, update, and maintain quality instructions, inspection procedures, control plans, and other quality documentation.
  • Validate new production processes, engineering changes, process improvements, and quality control methods before mass production.
  • Ensure all quality documentation remains accurate, standardized, and compliant with company requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Production, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Provide technical support during new product introduction (NPI), pilot production, and process transfer activities.
  • Support internal and external quality audits when required.
  • Quality Performance Monitoring
  • Monitor and analyze key production quality indicators, including but not limited to:
  • First Time Through (FTT)
  • First Pass Yield (FPY)
  • Defect Rate (DPMO/PPM)
  • Rework Rate
  • Scrap Rate
  • Process Capability
  • Prepare regular quality reports and recommend improvement actions based on data analysis.
