Overview

Review and provide technical comments on FEED documents prepared by engineering consultants, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, operability and maintainability.
Support EPC tendering by evaluating bidders' technical proposals, design philosophy, material take-off/Bill of Materials, Bill of Quantities, construction methodology, organization chart, manpower plan, schedule, and technical deviations.
Participate in technical clarification meetings and provide recommendation for bidder selection.
During EPC execution, review and approve engineering deliverables within delegated authority.
Monitor engineering progress, technical issues, procurement status (where relevant), and construction readiness.
Act as the technical focal point between contractors involving in project and resolve interface issues.
Coordinate with other groups to ensure integrated design.
Work at site as supervisor and/or filed engineer if project requires. Support FAT/SAT, commissioning and handover as required.
Prepare technical reports and participate in project meetings.
