Overview

  • Plan and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies for Shopify merchants.
  • Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, and competitor research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, URL structures, and site architecture for better organic visibility.
  • Create SEO briefs and collaborate with Content teams to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content.
  • Monitor and resolve technical SEO issues, including crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and site performance.
  • Support link-building initiatives to improve website authority and organic rankings.
  • Analyze SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and other SEO tools.
  • Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, SEO trends, and best practices to continuously improve client performance.
  • Prepare regular SEO reports and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Support planning, launching, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and Display.
  • Assist in managing Google Merchant Center, product feeds, and Google Shopping optimization.
  • Conduct keyword and audience research to support paid search campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide optimization recommendations based on KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPC, and Conversion Rate.
  • Collaborate with SEO and Paid Ads teams to align organic and paid search strategies for maximum business impact.
  • Support tracking implementation using Google Tag Manager and GA4 when required.
  • Stay informed about Google's latest advertising features and AI-powered campaign updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience in SEO (agency or in-house).
  • Solid understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools.
  • Basic understanding of Google Ads, especially Google Search and Google Shopping campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Google Merchant Center and product feeds is an advantage.
  • Experience working with Shopify websites or e-commerce businesses is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and website structure is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make optimization decisions.
  • Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Intermediate English proficiency (reading documentation and communicating with international clients).
  • Experience working with Shopify merchants or digital marketing agencies.
  • Google Ads Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, or Meta Ads is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and international SEO.
  • Knowledge of AI tools that improve SEO productivity and content optimization.
