Overview

  • Teacher of Mandarin (Primary and Secondary) with the professional capacity to establish and expand initiatives in a developing programme is essential.
  • All teachers are expected to contribute to the pastoral/homeroom curriculum and to after-school activities programme.
  • Subject Teachers are responsible for the academic progress and pastoral care of students within their class in accordance with the school’s Guiding Statements, curriculum and policies.
  • Setting high expectations which inspires, motivates and challenges students.
  • Establish a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment that motivates students, supports risk-taking in learning and fosters confidence.
  • Design lessons with clear goals that encourage active engagement, independence, collaboration and cross curricular connections.

  • Promotes ongoing progress and outcomes for all students.
  • Build knowledge of students to tailor learning, using curriculum sequencing and prior learning to guide progress.

  • Design learning opportunities that reinforce learning, spark interest, and challenge students.
