Overview
- Manage product costing activities, including standard costing, cost allocation, inventory valuation, and monthly cost closing.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and variances, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Reconcile inventory transactions and ensure the accuracy of cost accounting records.
- Prepare cost analysis reports and collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve cost efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain accounting records for cost saving projects.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to monitor project status.
- Support month-end closing, financial audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to cost and asset management.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
