Overview
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new factories and suppliers across Vietnam and neighboring sourcing markets.
- Build and maintain a strong network of manufacturing partners for consumer goods.
- Conduct supplier due diligence, capability assessments, and factory audits.
- Source products and manufacturing solutions that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct product inspections and quality checks throughout the production process.
- Coordinate with factories to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve production challenges, delays, and quality concerns.
- Serve as the primary communication bridge between English-speaking, Vietnamese-speaking stakeholders, and Chinese-speaking (if applicable)
- Facilitate clear communication between internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and sample status
- Required Experience
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written) required.
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management.
- Proven experience sourcing and managing consumer goods manufacturing.
- Strong factory negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Experience conducting supplier audits and factory evaluations.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to travel within Vietnam to visit factories and suppliers as needed.
- Preferred Experience
- Existing network of factories and suppliers in Vietnam.
- Experience working with international brands, importers, or trading companies.
- Familiarity with product compliance, quality assurance, and supply chain best practices.
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese a plus.
