Overview
- Anritsu Vietnam, a global leader in test and measurement solutions with over 130 years of history, is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support sales activities by providing technical expertise in RF and wireless technologies.
- This role spans the entire customer lifecycle—from pre-sales solution design and technical engagement to delivery, acceptance, and post-sales support—ensuring the successful deployment and continuous optimization of our solutions.
- Support technical activities for marketing events, customer engagement, and partner enablement
- Assist in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and technical information to support opportunity qualification
- Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (PoC), and technical presentations
- Develop technical proposals, including system configuration, BoQ, and RFP responses
- Collaborate with internal teams, factories, and third-party partners to ensure optimal solutions
- Support technical validation, configuration alignment, and deal execution
- Assist with system delivery, implementation, and acceptance testing
- Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting after delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement through customer feedback and technical insights
Requirements
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree or Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
- 1-3+ Years of Engineer experience in Telecommunication or equivalent industry
- Basic knowledge of RF fundamentals (spectrum, modulation, propagation, etc.)
- Understanding of wireless communication systems (LTE/5G is a plus)
- Experience with RF measurement or wireless communication systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills and willingness to work directly with customers
- Proactive learning attitude and ability to quickly acquire new technical knowledge
- Business-level proficiency in English (reading documents, communicating internally and with vendors)
- Preferred
- Hand-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer)
- Experience with protocol testing or wireless testers (e.g., call box, UE simulator) is a plus
- Experience in 5G / LTE / wireless technologies
- Experience supporting customers or working in technical support / field application roles
- Interest or experience in pre-sales, demo, or customer-facing roles
