Overview
- Shipment Planning and Execution:
- Schedule and track import/export shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers.
- Coordinate with internal and external vendors, government bodies to apply for impex licenses at the earliest timeframe to ensure shipment clearance on time, in full at the lowest DEM charges.
- Documentation Management
- Prepare, verify, and maintain invoices, packing lists, B/L, COO, permits, and other documents.
- Pre-determine Products subjects to legal regulations to trigger the document submission early for import and export license submission
- Ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Customs Clearance & Compliance
- Submit documentation to customs authorities.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and trade policies.
- provide reasonable explanations and backup information to all customs requests regarding to new chemical laws, and other tightened regulations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Issue Resolution
- Identify and resolve shipment or documentation discrepancies.
- Take the lead to drive the corrective and preventive actions to avoid issues repeated by engaging internal and external stakeholders into the solution design process.
- Communicate with stakeholders to prevent delays.
- Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Generate weekly/monthly shipment and KPI reports.
- Monitor delivery performance, costs, and exceptions.
- Provide weekly and monthly analysis and performance improvement plan under the assigned BU.
