Overview

  • ABOUT THE POSITION
  • This External Relations Executive is a special strategic position to enhance AEON Vietnam image as a Sustainable Retailer to external stakeholders (especially Government). This position's mission is to strategically leverage relations tactics to support develop AEON Vietnam's long term goal to become an indespensible company to Vietnam society.
  • Sustainability projects execution - Society Pillar (55%)
  • The position will mainly incharge of implementing Sustainability activities under the Society Pillar, according to yearly planned. The role in each activity will vary from Host to Coordinator to Supervisor depends on activity scale: HQ or Operations.
  • The activities includ but not limit to:
  • (1.1) Promote wellbeing lifestyle: AEON EKIDEN relay race & Cosplay festival (3 events/ year)
  • (1.2) Disaster preparedness & response & relief: implement response & relief actions according to Disaster Framework, in case of unexpected disaster happen.
  • (1.3) Community activities for locals: Blood donation, Lunar New Year, Children Day, ...
  • Scope of work range from: location scouting, on site event execution, external partners/ agency collaboration and/ or other documentary tasks as assigned.
  • Sustainability projects execution - Environment Pillar (30%)
  • (2.1) Biodiversity Conservation: Community Cleaning Day, ...
  • (2.2) Emission Reduction: Tree Planting, ...
  • Other Work management tasks (10%)
  • (3.1) Perform essential tasks to support for main scope of work: contracting, purchasing request, payment request, business trip application, ...
  • (3.2) Engage in daily communication, bonding, mentoring, coaching, review, etc with direct supervisor and team members in proper frequency (such as daily, weekly, monthly, annually) to ensure work updates, timely consultant and expectation alignment.
  • (3.3) Occassionally (but not regular) support other project leaders as a part of on-site event/ activity
  • (3.4) Support Manager other minor assigned tasks within the limits of available resources
  • This Sustainability Project Officer is a special strategic position of to implement Sustainability projects, following AEON Vietnam's Sustainability direction. This position's mission is to support AEON Vietnam's long term goal to become a beloved Corporate Citizen to Vietnam society.

Requirements

  • University degrees in 1 of following study field: Social Sciences & Humanity, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications
  • Minimum 01 year of experiences in 1 of following field: CSR projects, Community projects, Event,… is a plus
  • Functional Certificate relating to any field of Sustainability is not required, but a plus
  • English efficiency: fluently
  • Project Management skill, Good Planning skill
  • Effective Teamwork
  • Good Communication
