Overview

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the company's HSE management system to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. Partnering with all departments to establish robust safety principles, prevent incidents, and drive continuous improvement through systems thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Environmental Management – Main Focus 70%
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Environmental Management System in compliance with applicable Vietnamese environmental regulations and international standards.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental legal requirements, including environmental permits, environmental registration, waste management, wastewater, emissions, hazardous substances, and chemical management.
  • Manage and control hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including classification, storage, transportation, and disposal.
  • Monitor and analyze environmental parameters such as wastewater, air emissions, noise, waste, and other environmental aspects.
  • Coordinate environmental monitoring, inspections, audits, and reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Prepare and maintain environmental reports, legal documents, records, and compliance documentation.
  • Identify environmental risks and aspects, assess their impacts, and develop appropriate control measures.
  • Lead environmental improvement projects, including waste reduction, energy saving, resource efficiency, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
  • Conduct internal environmental audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Health & Safety Management
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health & Safety Management System in compliance with applicable legal requirements and ISO 45001.
  • Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Support the management of occupational health, workplace conditions, emergency preparedness, and safety training.
  • Organize and coordinate HSE training, including fire prevention, chemical safety, PPE, emergency response, and workplace safety.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor the proper use of PPE and compliance with company HSE procedures.
  • Support emergency drills and maintain emergency response plans.
  • HSE System & Compliance
  • Develop and maintain HSE procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, and relevant documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE legal requirements and customer requirements.
  • Support internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
  • Prepare regular HSE performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Promote a strong HSE culture and environmental awareness throughout the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in HSE, with strong expertise in Environmental Management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Vietnamese environmental laws and regulations.
  • Strong experience in waste management, wastewater, emissions, hazardous waste, chemical management, environmental monitoring, and environmental compliance.
  • Good knowledge of ISO 14001; experience with ISO 45001 is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of occupational health and safety, risk assessment, incident investigation, emergency response, and workplace safety.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits and managing corrective actions.
  • Good English communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
