Check payable expense documents for validity, legality and completeness to ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies and contract terms
Review the financial terms of project contracts (value, payment terms and milestones, advances, guarantees, retention and penalties); check and prepare payment dossiers for the project in line with contract terms and company procedures; and maintain a contract register tracking contract value, certified value, amount paid, remaining balance and guarantee expiry dates.
Record all project transactions accurately and completely in the accounting software; manage and archive project accounting records so they are well organized and ready for audit.
Track and reconcile payables with contractors, suppliers and other parties, and monitor actual costs against budget, reporting variances to the Project Manager and Line manager
Manage site cash advances, submit weekly advance reports/ cash report to head office
Guide site staff in preparing payment packages, explanations and approval documents, and work with head-office departments in Hanoi, business stakeholders to resolve finance-related issues.
