- Production Readiness & Delivery
- Own supplier readiness and execution to ensure products, components, frames, paint, and assemblies are delivered according to business and product launch timelines.
- Align suppliers and internal teams on production schedules, key milestones, and critical deliverables.
- Monitor production progress, identify risks early, and drive actions before they impact supply or delivery.
- Lead mitigation and recovery plans when production disruptions, capacity constraints, or supply risks arise.
- Supplier Performance
- Own the operational performance of assigned suppliers across delivery, capacity, quality, and execution.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers and develop a deep understanding of their manufacturing capabilities, constraints, and processes.
- Lead regular supplier performance reviews and drive accountability for improvement actions.
- Escalate and resolve supplier issues that may impact business or customer commitments.
- Capacity Planning & Supply Execution
- Work with suppliers to ensure production capacity supports demand, product launches, and longer-term business needs.
- Evaluate capacity, identify constraints, and drive actions to ensure manufacturing readiness.
- Recommend tooling, resources, and capacity investments needed to support growth and production stability.
- Lead backlog and production recovery efforts when supply interruptions occur.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a key operational connection between suppliers and Product, Engineering, Supply Planning, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, and Sourcing.
- Bring stakeholders together around priorities, risks, recovery plans, and execution requirements.
- Drive decisions and follow-through when supply, production, or capacity challenges require cross-functional action.
- Supplier Development & Continuous Improvement
- Lead operational readiness for new supplier onboarding and supplier expansion.
- Partner with suppliers to improve manufacturing performance, efficiency, scalability, and delivery reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen supply chain resilience.
- Establish corrective action plans, monitor progress, and ensure recurring issues are sustainably resolved.
