  • The Sport Management Assistant Manager is responsible for developing and executing Pocari Sweat’s sports marketing strategy and key sports initiatives in Vietnam.
  • The role connects brand strategy, sports, athlete and community engagement, and consumer experience to strengthen Pocari Sweat’s credibility and relevance in sports.
  • Key objectives include:
  • Strengthening Pocari Sweat’s brand equity and leadership in hydration within the sports community.
  • Developing sustainable relationships with athletes, sports organizations, clubs, and strategic partners.
  • Creating meaningful sports platforms that drive consumer engagement and product experience.
  • Ensuring effective planning, execution, and evaluation of sports marketing investments.
  • Strategy & Brand Activation
  • Campaign Management: Architect and execute comprehensive, data-driven sports marketing strategies that align with Pocari Sweat strategy.
  • Flagship Event Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and communication for major proprietary sports properties, most notably the annual Pocari Sweat sport events (run, football, etc…).
  • Collaborate with medical, nutritional, and physiological experts to build out and validate the brand's sport education to anchor marketing content.
  • Sports Marketing Strategy & Brand Activation
  • Develop and implement the local Sports Marketing Strategy and Annual Plan, aligned with business objectives, brand priorities, and overall marketing strategy.
  • Partnership & Community Governance
  • KOL & Athlete Relations: Scout, secure, and manage corporate relationships with professional sports teams, elite athletes, sport influencers, and running, other sports clubs.
  • Sponsorship Execution: Negotiate and track high-visibility sponsorships, ensuring that on-site branding, corporate booths, and functional hydration stations are fully optimized.
  • Develop programs and activities that strengthen Pocari Sweat’s presence and engagement within sports communities.
  • Explore opportunities to collaborate with sports organizations and partners in initiatives contributing to the development of sports in Vietnam.
  • Digital & Content Marketing
  • Develop sports-related content pillars and annual content plans and manage the development of sports content across social media, digital platforms, events, and community channels.
  • Asset Optimization: Supervise on-site content capture, digital workflows, and post-event recaps to leverage active-lifestyle trends and maximize ROI.
  • Build and maintain a knowledge and content library covering sports, hydration, recovery, and active lifestyles.
  • Financial & Team Management
  • Budget Accountability: Plan and manage the overall financial implications of sports campaigns, tracking expenditures and monitoring ROI closely.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, agencies, partners, and vendors to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide internal Sport Management Executives and external agency personnel to foster a high-performance workspace.
