Assist plan and implement internal control activities in performing periodic checks on accounting transactions and financial processes.
Check compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulations relating to Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
Support the review of the assigned accounting processes.
Report control deficiencies and follow up on corrective actions.
Prepare periodic internal control reports, working papers, and supporting schedules.
Use Microsoft Excel to reconcile data, identify discrepancies, and analyze unusual transactions.
Maintain organized records of control testing results and supporting evidence.
Prepare documents and evidence for internal and external audits.
Coordinate with other departments to obtain required supporting documents and information.
Assist in updating internal control checklists, procedures, and documentation.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
